- Lot Description
Early 20th century, France, large Legras glass vase enamel-decorated in blue, white, orange and yellow, mounted as a lamp on a blue and grey color pallette pedestal, signed "Legras" in enamel on side of vase, with shade; measures approximately 35" tall and 6-3/4" in diameter to base. Legras was founded in 1864 by Auguste Legras at St. Denis, France. It is best known for cameo glass and enamel-decorated glass with Art Nouveau designs. Legras merged with Pantin in 1920 and became the Verreries et Cristalleries de St. Denis et de Pantin Reunies.
