- Lot Description
Jules Dules Duffart (French, 1924- ) oil on canvas signed lower left "Duffart" depicting a quaint coastal town scene & framed in a wood frame mounted behind a linen liner, and having a framed height of 19-1/8" with width of 17-1/8" and depth of 1-3/4". Canvas height itself is 12" with width of 10". All measurements are approximate. In overall good condition. Jules Dules Duffart (French, 1924- ) studied at the Academy of Fine Arts in Paris, France. A 1950s modernist and French School artist, he is widely known as a painter of landscapes, still life scenes, portraits, & human activity, he often uses color in a delicate chromatic range in a similar style of Bernard Buffet.
