- Lot Description
Jose Clemente Orozco (Mexico, 1883 - 1949) unframed portrait drawing in charcoal on paper. No authentication paperwork accompanying, however style and signature are consistent with the artist's known works. Measures 12" in height with width of 9-5/8". Signed to upper right "J Orozco". Provenance: from the estate of a prominent Texas collector, known to not only to have collected a vast assortment of notable art, but to have befriended a majority of the artists of whose work was acquired.
