Nice trio of contemporary necklaces, including one leather necklace with 14K gold mounts & pendant having a "14K Jason McLeod" mark. Also includes two 14K mounted and black heishi & gold bead necklaces, one with an onyx inlaid bead. Both marked 14K with "JNR" & "PNR" stamps to clasps. Jason McLeod is a Charlottesville, VA native, & is a well-known studio jeweler & goldsmith. He works in 14k & 18k gold, sterling silver, platinum, high quality gemstones, & other natural materials. Every piece is handmade one at a time, & only as limited editions, series, or one of a kind. His life long experience as an artist comprises rock & punk music, drawing, painting, bronze casting, kinetic sculpture, & music club poster art design, & he holds a B.A. degree in political science. He began making jewelry in Oakland, CA., & now lives & works in Charlottesville, VA., & is he is also the son of another well-known Charlottesville artist, Judy McLeod.
