Three (3) circa 1946 Japanese Dolls with original clothing purchased in occupied Japan with original crate, includes small girl bisque doll measuring 8-1/2" in length (hair not included in measurement), a small boy in handmade clothing of oyster shell measuring 9", & a large girl in ceremonial clothing also of oyster shell measuring 21" in total height including costume & stand. Damage to each consistent with age & use, see photographs for further detail. The largest doll is richly dressed, wearing opulently embroidered garments including a beautiful cloak & a courtier's gold hat (eboshi), & is carrying buckets typical of a "salt-scooper".
