Three Jake Vandenbrink lithographs; unframed; includes: "Sundance", which is signed in plate "J. Vandenbrink 1997" as well as pencil signed to bottom right corner, titled to bottom middle, and numbered "241/295" to bottom left corner; "Golden Pond", which is pencil signed to bottom right corner, titled to bottom middle, and numbered "244/295" to bottom left corner; and "Woodland Retreat", which is signed in plate to lower right "J. Vandenbrink 1998" as well as pencil signed to bottom right, titled to bottom middle, and numbered "245/295" to bottom left corner; all measure approximately 14" x 20". The serenity of nature is the underlying theme of this Canadian born artist's work. The art portrays a timeless sense of calm through carefully rendered depictions of the landscape. While looking at Jake's work the viewer is rewarded with a peaceful feeling, and an immediate appreciation for the outdoors. As a self taught artist, Jake's style has developed over many years, and has evolved from childhood. Early in life he nurtured a close bond with nature and wildlife, and it was this relationship with the natural world that
