Itzchak Tarkay (Israeli/Serbian, 1935-2012) serigraph matted and framed under glass, titled “Summertime Waiting” and depicting a woman sitting in a café. Numbered 112/350 to the lower left hand corner and signed by the artist to the lower right hand corner. Gilt frame measures 35” in height by 34-1/2” in width with the sight image measuring 22” in height by 22” in width. All measurements are approximate. Itzchak Tarkay (Israeli/Serbian, 1935-2012) was a Serbian born artist who immigrated to Israeli after being liberated from a Nazi concentration camp. He studied under several prominent Israeli artists and his French inspired café paintings have been displayed in public and private collections throughout the world.
