Hans Erni (Swiss, 1909 – 2015) "Solomon's Horses" lithograph dated 1966 and signed by the artist. Frame measures 27-1/2" in height by 22" in width with the sight image measuring 22" in height by 17" in width. All measurements are approximate. Hans Erni (1909 – 2015) was a Swiss graphic designer, painter, illustrator, engraver. In his career, he created about 300 posters and several murals (for the Red Cross, the IOC, the United Nations, ICAO, and many public and private enterprises). He illustrated about 200 books and created 90 Postage stamps and 25 medals. There is a Hans Erni Museum in Lucerne, Switzerland.
