Don Roth limited edition "Underwater Romance" signed print; highly detailed, nostalgic, and whimsical, this painting is part of a continuing series that depicts the life and adventures of a very "Kool" Kat and his friends; framed under glass; pen signed beneath image and numbered "215/395"; measures approximately 30-1/8" x 26-1/4" with frame and has a sight image of approximately 21-3/8" x 17-1/2". Southern California Artist Don Roth comes to the craft of painting with a vast range of abilities and experience. He incorporates the technical skills of a Draftsman and Illustrator in a subtle blend of precision and sensitivity, making his creations a wonder to behold. "Born with a pencil in his hand", Don inherited his artistic talent from his father, who was a successful Automobile Designer in Detroit, where the "Roth" family originated. The "Kool-Kat" painting series, represents the culmination of Don's artistic experience and development. A true "cat-lover" all of his life, these whimsical, light-hearted and nostalgic paintings depict the fantasy of a simpler world where KATS are KOOL!
