- Lot Description
This pond yacht model was made by Authentic Models and is a replica of the famous "Defender" which won the America's Cup race in 1895; the model is built with plank on frame construction with cotton sails and brass rigging and comes with a stand and a brass name plate that says, "1895 CUP RACER"; it has a rich red hull with varnished natural wood over the rest of the craft; includes stand; measures approximately 36-1/2" tall with stand, 36-1/2" long from stern to bow, and 5" deep; in Very Good condition.
