- Lot Description
Anna Sandhu Ray (American, B. 1946) identically double-matted and framed pair of fold art drawings, on mishapen-edged paper. With framed height of 16" and width of 14-1/2", and having (roughly) sight image height of 5-1/2" with width of 7". Both are signed to lower right & in are overall good condition. Anna Sandhu Ray was born on November 13, 1946 in the Unica Mountains of Southern Virginia, & learned her appreciation of art from her artist mother. She began expressing herself through painting at the age of three, and was a realistic, impressionistic painter. She is internationally known better, however, for her marriage to her ex-husband James Earl Ray, confessed killer of Dr. Martin Luther King.
