Amalio Garcia Del Moral (Spanish, 1922-1995) mixed media with metal, sculpture on canvas; signed to bottom right corner as well as titled "Chantecler (Subconsciente Con Jaula)" and signed verso; measures approximately 52" x 39" with a depth of approximately 5"; in Good overall condition with no apparent damage. Amalio Garcia Del Moral, born in Granada in 1922, was a very cultured man and lover of Giralda, the iconic tower of Seville, where he was rooted most of his life. He was a Professor of Drawing and Basis of Form in the School of Fine Arts in Seville from 1961-1984 as well as the President of the National Association of Professors and Higher Fine Arts Schools in 1967. Moral's works are housed in numerous museums and private collections throughout the world. He died in Seville in 1995.
