- Lot Description
A study of trees, perhaps in a garden, with a moody aura. This oil on board was painted by Austrian-American Walter Anton Carnelli (1905-1959), early/mid 20th C. Signed lower right.
Carnelli was noted for his public mural commissions, but also did work in stain glass design, and color research for Walter Reed Army Hospital.
