- Lot Description
This colorful pop art style mixed media creation blends a vase of tulips with two other vases of red flowers - perhaps roses or peonies - with a Roman statue in the foreground. What is interesting is the Newcomb College vase on the far left, a rather deft enmeshment which I did not notice until photographing. Signed lower right.
Bill Green (1945-2011) was a southern regional artist who eventually settled in Duluth, GA northeast of Atlanta, GA. He worked in numerous media and consulted for the textile industry.
