• Lot Description

  A bronze sculpture after Christophe-Gabriel Allegrain (French, 1710 - 1795) of the artist's famous marble work entitled La Baigneuse, but also subsequently known by other names. This version was produced late 19th / early 20th C. in Paris reputedly by the firm Jules Boulanger, a foundry well regarded for its high quality work.
