- Lot Description
A fantastic salt glazed stoneware strap handled jug by the well regarded John Bell of Waynesboro Pennsylvania. Its primary glaze is green with blue tones and rust colored finish in other areas, the top portion having orange peel texture. His work is in many museums including The Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York City. This jug dates to mid 19th C.
