- Lot Description
A United Press International original photograph dated July 18, 1955 of Baseball player Joe Black of the Cincinnati Reds. Black was Rookie of the Year 1952 when playing with the Brooklyn Dodgers, and was the first black pitcher to win a Word Series game also in 1952.
The framed photograph includes a typed description of the photograph which explains that Black is doing an exercise during practice.
