ETTORE SOTTSASS
'Stairs' area rug, ca. 1985
Machine-knotted wool. Produced by Elisee Editions, Ireland.
From the edition of 100.70" W x 107" L
Condition
Overall very good vintage condition. Carpet is clean with no stains. Occasional errant strand but no areas of threadbareness, rips or holes. The backing has discoloration around the edges and at one corner the rug and backing are coming apart, none of which is visible when installed.
