EERO SAARINEN
Early 'Womb' chair and ottoman, 1950s
Vintage deadstock Knoll fabric, moulded plywood, painted steel. Manufactured by Knoll, USA.
Ottoman's frame impressed "12."
35.5" H x 40" W x 33" D
Seat height: 15"
Ottoman: 15" H x 25" W x 19" D
Condition
Very good restored condition. Newer fabric in excellent condition with no rips, stains or pulls. Frames appear to retain their original finish and have occasional minor scratches, scuffing and oxidation. Feet appear newer. Occasional replaced screws.
