First generation 'SAX' armchair, 1950-1954
Molded plastic Zenaloy, black oxide-patinated tubular steel, rope, aluminum. Manufactured by Zenith Plastics for Herman Miller, USA.
Underside with manufacturer's checkerboard label.29.5" H x 24.75" W x 24.5" D
Seat height: 17"Condition
Excellent original condition. Arm shell with occasional minor surface abrasions. The black oxide finish on the legs have patinated to a dark army green and have occasional scratches or scuffing. Original 'dome of silence' feet intact.
