ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: . This white gold ring features a shimmering blue Paraiba tourmaline in double prongs and with a tiered floating diamond halo. The top of the ring is approximately 7/8" diameter and is raised and supported with a ribbed gallery.

- The Paraiba Tourmaline is one of the newest gemstones known to man. It was discovered in Brazil in the late 1980's and has become one of the most prized gemstones in the tourmaline family
- Paraiba Tourmaline are also found in Nigeria and Mozambique. Even though they are not from Paraiba Brazil, The Laboratory Manual Harmonisation Committee (LMHC)***, agrees these tourmalines should be called Paraiba, due to their neon colors and vivid hues.
***The primary purpose of LMHC is to work towards the harmonization of gemological report language. The LMHC is not formally connected to any trade organization.
