  PAIR OF CHAIRS with cabriolet back in molded gray relacquered beech. Tapered, fluted and filleted legs. Stamped J. B. Boulard. Louis XVI period.
  Height : 90 cm - Width : 54 cm - Depth : 50 cm.
  Jean-Baptiste Boulard, received master in 1755, supplier of the Crown. Handwritten label : Le sallon de Mme la Princesse de Lamballe Fontainebleau n°133.
  Provenance : sale, 9 December 1994, Paris, Hôtel Drouot, Mes Couturier et de Nicolaÿ, n°108. The Garde Meuble de la Couronne, under order no. 133, placed an order with Boulard on March 27, 1788 for a set of chairs for the service of Made la princesse de Lambal in Fontainebleau.
