Lot Description

FOUR WIDE CHAIRS with flat back in mahogany and mahogany veneer. Back with openwork crosses. Front legs in sheath and back legs in saber. Mark " R " on the iron (for the castle of Rosny), n°27 and handwritten label.
England (?) early 19th century.
Height : 90 cm - Width : 55 cm. Depth : 49 cm.
Provenance : old handwritten label indicating as provenance the castle of Rosny. Bought by the Count Frederic de La Rochefoucauld (at the sale of the Duchess of Berry).
