In-24, 220 pp. with printed collet on p. 220 ("changemens survenus pendant l'impression du Calendrier de la Cour"), dark green Russian leather, smooth spine decorated with gilt ironwork, fleurdelisé lace framing the boards with gilt coat of arms in the center, gilt edges, small snag on the upper cover and corners a little rubbed.

Elder daughter of Louis XVI and Marie-Antoinette, the Duchess of Angoulême Marie-Thérèse-Charlotte de France (1778-1851) married her first cousin the Duke of Angoulême in 1799, while emigrating to Mittau. She was exiled for a second time with her husband, after the Revolution of 1830, to her deposed uncle Charles X.
