Vintage Winchester Ranger 500 wood shotgun shell box, iron strap hinged lid, stencil address at top to "Toepperwein, San Antonio, Texas", believed to be Adolph Toepperwein (1869-1962) associated with Winchester for 50 years and holder of shooting records including a three day exhibition hitting 19,999 hand thrown wood blocks out of 20,000 and missing only nine wood blocks out of 72,500 with a .22 automatic pistol, together with his wife, who also held shooting records, they toured as shooting exhibitionists known as "The Wonderful Topperweins", box: 5.5"h, 14.75"w, 8.5"d, Start Price: $80.00All lots are sold as is and where is.
