  (lot) Archive of papers and documents relating to Percy Foreman (Percy Eugene Foreman, Texas, 1902-1988) Texas defense attorney whose clients included James Earl Ray, (assassin of Martin Luther King Jr.), briefly Jack Ruby (killer of Lee Harvey Oswald, assassin of President John Kennedy), Charles Harrelson (estranged father of actor Woody Harrelson), a defendant in the Candy Mossler trial (a Miami socialite), organized crime figures and losing only one client in1000 murder trials to the death penalty, included are: more than (60) in court 4" x 6"photos of a trial including Foreman questioning witnesses; (1) 1928 certificate licensing Foreman as an attorney by the Texas Supreme Court; (3) United Press International photos, one showing Foreman with Jack Ruby's siblings, two showing Foreman being interviewed by the press; (20+) photos for Life Magazine, 13.5" x 9.25" of the Candy Mossler trial; (50+) photos for Life Magazine, of Foreman and various people, court scenes; (30+) Foreman family photos; various magazine and newspaper publications including Life Magazine and Saturday Evening Post with articles on Foreman; plaque from the National Association of Defense Lawyers in Criminal Cases, Foreman having served as president, other related items, total stacked: approx. 6.5"h, 18"w, 14"d, total: 22lbs Start Price: $500.00
