Native American Northwest Coast woven rattle-top basket, Tlingit, having circular top with contained seed rattle, over cylindrical body with repeating polychrome geometric motifs, reinforced base, approx 2.75"h, 5"diam, <1lbs
Condition
1.9.25-In my opinion regarding LOT: 2142-I am not an expert on Native American baskets, the rattle makes noise, the basket appears intact with no apparent holes, or blatant repairs, I do notice that both the rim and body are slightly there is some tonal, variation and minor spotting to body and lid, the paper bottom has very small area of wear/loss along one border as pictured, I have taken numerous images for your review, please let me know should you have specific or further questions
