- Lot Description
American art glass bottle vase, attributed to Mt. Washington Glass Company, in the "Royal Flemish" decoration, acid-etched matte finish, enamel stains with raised gilding, tall narrow neck, bulbous base, ornamented with five classically-inspired coins/ medallions, approx 12 7/8"h, 7.5"diam, 2.75lbs
Condition
3.8.24-In my opinion regarding LOT: 1147- a UV examination is unremarkable, there are not observed chips, cracks or restoration to the vase, I do observe some overall rubs/wear to gilt surfaces, particularly at rim, the raised gilt enamel trim shows some typical small chips and minute loss (see images), there is slight surface wear underfoot, some inherent imperfections to glass, all mentioned commensurate with age, as I am not an expert on such vases, I have taken numerous images for your review.
