German porcelain mantel clock on stand, Meissen, having flute player finial, over pierced lattice cupola, female figure in drapery and two winged cherubs atop case, surmounted by porcelain and hand painted flowers, centering enamel dial, with Roman numerals, time-and-strike movement, dial marked Henri Marc, Paris, all rising on rocaille shaped stand, crossed swords mark underfoot, incised model number 2721, typical small chips and losses to delicate florals, lacking back panel, hairlines to dial face, overall: approx 24.75"h, 13.5"w, 9"d, 18lbs total Start Price: $600.00
8.22.23-LOT- 876- A UV examination shows likely restoration to the neck of the figure at top, restoration to the fairy’s wings, one fairyfigure is lacking a toe, as described, there are typical small chips and losses to the applied flowers and leafy elements, the face shows hairlines in the enamel, it may be lacking a cover, as described, the back is lacking a panel/cover, there are some inherent firing flaws and light wear to paint, the suspension/pendulum string is broken, thus cannot support the pendulum, it likely needs to be restrung, when wound, the strike is chiming on the half hour, however since we are unable to hang the pendulum, we cannot speak to the current operational status, this clock and works are SOLD AS IS
