French Louis Philippe giltwood mirror, mid 19th c., having arched frame with beaded trim, encasing flat mirror plate, approx 72"h, 49"w, 100lbs
Condition
10.6.24-
In my opinion regarding LOT: 3387-Due to the size of the mirror and gallery location, I am unable to fully photo straight on, please refer to online photos, the mirror has hanging hardware applied to the back and is resting on small wood blocks, the gilt surfaces exhibit some overall rubs, lines, and small areas of loss/wear, there are some gilt paint touchups, noted mostly along bottom edge, beaded trim appears present with various small nicks and light rubs, the ‘diamond dust’ mirror has several small areas of silver loss, located primarily in the center, lower left center and left edge, all mentioned commensurate with age
