Italian Renaissance Revival carved hat/ coat rack, late 19th c., having molded cornice, supported on the backs of contorted figures at either side, back panel issuing five hooks, approx 33.5"h, 70.75"w, 13"d
Condition
3.20.24-In my opinion regarding LOT: 688-The coat rack is currently hung on the wall, it is impressive in size, I am unable to view the top surface, please refer to online images, I am sorry I would not know if the finish and hooks are original, while they appear to be, I just cannot say as this piece is late 19thc., I note only some minor tonal variation, finish wear/rubs, and some small and typical wood losses, particularly to protruding elements, such as the toe of one figure, and left side of his drape, all minor and commensurate with age
