Chinese Canton rose porcelain baluster vase, now fashioned as a two-light table lamp, having flared and scalloped rim over relief-molded gilt figures, enameled reserves depicting figural courtyard scenes, among birds, butterflies, and floral medallions, rising on lacquered wood base and scrolled stand, accompanied by fabric shade, intact with restoration at the rim, in need of wiring, lamp: approx 38"h, 8"diam, overall with shade: approx 38"h, 21"w, 16"d, 13.25lbs **Provenance: From the Byram Family's Above Stratford Mansion. John Byram, a prominent Austin-based real estate developer, and his late wife Sally Byram curated this French Provincial style estate with the help of notable architects and interior designers. The home has remained untouched since Sally's untimely passing in 2006, serving as a testament to her taste for sophistication and craftsmanship**

03.13.25: In my opinion regarding LOT 2438: As described the fixture is in need of wiring, I note that the lamp is presently intact and stands sturdy, the lamp fittings remaining securely fixed to vase, I am not able to view interior of lamp due to wood cover, but vase is likely secured to stand with a drill hole and screw underfoot, close visual and UV light examinations reveals an area of restoration with in painting at the rim, as well as having several filled minor chips, the gilt elements having typical light rubs commensurate with age and use, I observe typical minor iron pitting, the lacquered cover and base with crazing, the gilt-painted base with tonal variations commensurate with staining/ discoloration, the shade with typical minor runs to the fabric, applique trim remaining secure
