- Lot Description
Hudson River Inlay "Seashell" border mirror, molded cherrywood frame, marquetry inlaid shells and fish in a variety of woods and abalone/ mother-of-pearl, centering a beveled mirror plate, approx 31.5"h, 25.5"w, 14.5lbs
Condition
03.07.24: In my opinion regarding LOT 040: I note that the beveled mirror plate and framing is presently intact and structurally secure, I do not observe silver loss to the mirror, only some minute spotting near the upper left hand edge, the inlay is well-preserved without presently observed loss or repairs, there is minor surface wear to the framing, such as light abrasions and a couple minute nicks along the top edge of lower trim segment, seams at points of joinery and around inlay remain tight
