French Louis XV style mirrored walnut armoire, early 20th c., having elaborate carved rocaille crest, over frieze with incised foliated scrollwork, dual armoire doors on long exterior hinges encasing beveled mirror plates, opening to shelved interior with one drawer, rising on cabriole legs, as visible in online images, mirror plates with hazing, some silver loss, spotting, approx 104.5"h, 54"w, 19.5"d
Condition
1.8.24-LOT – 3419-The overall structure is in sturdy condition, as described the mirrors, have some colored hazing, spotting, and general light wear, both have a wide bevel and are intact with no chips or cracks, the wood case would likely benefit from a good moisturizing or waxing, I observe some tonal variation, small nicks, rubs and light wood wear, the doors operate smoothly and one of the two keys does operate the lock, interior shelving is as pictured and secure, all mentioned commensurate with age and use
