- Lot Description
French Louis Philippe style walnut commode, early 20th c., having shaped marble top, ogee frieze drawer, over three additional drawers, spherical brass pulls, rising on bracket feet, approx 37 5/8"h, 41.5"w, 22 1/8"d
Condition
10.25.24: In my opinion regarding LOT 3363 I note that the commode is presently intact and structurally sturdy, the marble top having inherent natural inclusions and fissures, as well as typical minor chipping to edges, the back right-hand corner with a small restoration, the case displaying typical tonal variations including from areas of light sun fading commensurate with age, the drawers currently operate smoothly, the brass pulls likely being later-added, and I observe a minute amount of typical surface wear such as light abrasions and small nicks commensurate with age and use
