Swiss tambour, timbres, castagnettes and zither music box, late 19th c., crossbanded walnut case with parcel-ebonized molding, marquetry musical trophies at cover and front panel, opening to movement playing twelve airs on an approx 21" cylinder, six visible bells with insect strikers, two drums, marked No. 2181g/ G970 on chromolithograph at interior cover, overall: approx 11.5"h, 37.25"w, 15.5"d **Provenance: From the estate of Carl Carter (Texas, 1955-2023)**

5.21.24-LOT – 4216- the case is intact and hinges are secure, the case is in overall good condition with only some typical minor wood wea, glass panel is intact with no noted chips or cracks, paper with song list is intact with some tears, see image, the piece is fully operational, I am sorry, I cannot speak to the sound or tone as I am not an expert on music boxes, please see attached video and images for your review
