French Louis XV style armoire, 19th c., having substantial foliate and bird carving, brass lock plates and brass hinges, a protruding cornice over two paneled doors, paneled sides, the interior now with a single shelf, rising on scrolled legs, approx 102"h, 69"w, 29.5"d Start Price: $400.00
Condition
11.28.23, 9:32 am: In my opinion regarding LOT 842: I note that the armoire is presently intact and structurally sturdy, the rear legs have been replaced, and the right hand edge exhibits some light splintering and chips, there is patination of the locking mechanism, which is currently operational, and the exposed hinges, I observe minor panel separation of the bottom of the armoire, and there are inherent stretch marks throughout the wood, there is typical surface wear such as abrasions, scuffs, nicks, and aforementioned small chips to carved details<br><br>Detailed condition reports are not included in this catalog.
