Engraved copper store sign, "F.A. Chapa Druggist," having slightly arched rectangular body with hand-engraved lettering, approx 35.5"h, 21"w, 10.25lbs **Note: Founded by Francisco A. Chapa (Mexico/ Texas, 1970-1924) in 1895, La Botica del Leon, later known as Chapa Drug Store, was the first Hispanic-owned drug store in Texas. Until it closed its doors in 1970, Chapa Drug Store was a popular meeting place for San Antonio politicians and the general public alike.**
