British Enfield Mk III rifle, Sporterized, mfg. 1916, bolt action, .303 caliber, 25" barrel, fixed front sight, adjustable rear ladder sight, detachable magazine, hardwood stock, brass butt plate with port, markings include: matched serial numbers on barrel and receiver ring, numerous inspection marks throughout, wrist guard, right wrist guard marked "Crown, GR, B.S.A. Co, 1916, Sht, LE, III*", wood with old dents scratches and later varnish, metal with light scratching, some finish loss and light surface rust, action is good, bore semi bright, with some pitting, good rifling, needs good cleaning, SN 92300 *RQUIRES FFL (6)
