Colt Model 1862 Police Revolver, 2nd Generation, F Series, mfg. 1977/78, Single Action, .36 Caliber Blackpowder Percussion, 5.5" round barrel over the operating loading lever, bead front sight, barrel top marked "Address Col. Saml Colt New-York US. America", fluted five round cylinder marked at one flute "Pat. Sept. 10th 1850", colorful case hardened frame marked at left side "Colt's Patent" and at left trigger guard shoulder "36 CAL", walnut grips, serial number matched at barrel, wedge, frame, trigger guard, cylinder pin, rear of cylinder and butt, grips are glossy with light scratches in good condition, metal with some light scratching action is good, light drag line at cylinder, bore is quite bright with strong rifling, the frame case hardened color extends to the loading lever, bore and cylinder appear as little or no use, condition overall is estimated at 95%+, SN 49971
