Scottish carved oak figure of a bishop, the figure in a traditional miter and cope over flowing robes, one hand raised with two extended fingers representing the dual nature of Christ, opposite hand lacking element (likely a crucifix), on pedestal base inscribed "Oak from old roof of Glasgow Cathedral," approx 12.5"h, 2 7/8"w, 2 5/8"d, 1.1lbs **NOTE: The 12th century oak-paneled quire ceiling of the Glasgow Cathedral underwent restorations from 1910-1912. Harvested timber from the original roofing was collected and reworked into various souvenir objects**
