In my opinion regarding LOT: 1400-the group overall is free of any apparent major dents, I do observe some overall light surface wear /scratches to the group, possibly from being cleaned, there are some small nicks to metal particularly along edges and raised points, this is very minor, please see images, otherwise I note only some variation and spotting to the patina, variation/slight bending? to the dragon whiskers, dragon handles all appear securely attached at this time, finally I note light wear underfoot, please see images for your review, see below for review of each piece, I am not an expert on Japanese silver, please let me know if you have further questions
<br>
Coffee pot: minor nicks to edges, particularly noted at lift top edge, variation to patina, some patination and spotting, slight overall minor surface wear, minor denting noted at flowers, this is likely intrinsic to the creation of the piece and its hand hammered nature.
<br>
Creamer & Sugar: some slight nicks to raised elements, light very minor dents, spotting, patination and variation to patina, light surface wear overall and underfoot.
<br>
Hot water kettle with dragon handle: small loss/ repair?? copper noted at one raised petal, see images as I am unsure what this is, small nicks, surface wear, some dark spotting to patina, and uneven patina underfoot, there is a visible seam at center handle, however this appears to be part of the creation process
<br>
Tea kettle: general light surface wear and some imperfections, patina shows some spotting and variation, hinge to lid wobbles a bit when opens, light wear underfoot.
