- Lot Description
(lot of 4) French Louis XVI style side chairs, 20th c., each in worn tan leather upholstery, with gilt-embossed scrollwork and nailhead trim, rising on fluted tapering legs, ending on arrow feet, approx 35.75"h, 18"w, 18.75"d, seat height: approx 18.75"h
Condition
CR 4.29.25-In my opinion regarding LOT: 4429-the chairs are in sturdy condition and have a heavy/solid weight, wood frames exhibit only minor rubs, a few scattered nicks and some tonal variation, all minor and commensurate with use, as described the leather is worn, one chair has a small tear to leather at the back, overall the leather is with fading, minute holes at front corner seams (see image), picks, creasing and light indentions to padding
