• Lot Description

  (lot of 4) Mid-century modern side chairs, Eero Saarinen (Finnish-American, 1910-1961) for Knoll Associates, c.1970s, brown woven upholstery, chromed steel four-part base, in need of new upholstery, lacking three plastic foot caps, approx 32"h, 22.5"w, 20.5"d, seat height: approx 18"h

  Condition

  10.25.24-LOT – 1139- The chairs are all in sturdy condition, one chair does swivel, the others do not, upholstery is free of rips or tears however is quite worn, exhibiting discoloration/stains, dirt, picks and general wear, the upholstery on one chair appears as sun faded as the color varies, the padding feels a bit degraded and shows some denting, the chairs would likely benefit from being reupholstered, the chromed bases are intact and sturdy showing some overall surface wear of varied degrees, one chair is lacking two plastic feet and another is lacking one plastic foot,  as commensurate with age and use, all retain the original Knoll tag to the underside, please see numerous images for your review
