- Lot Description
(lot of 3) Chinese 'Blanc de Chine' porcelain figures of Guanyin, each with impressed mark to verso, (one) intact with hairlines and restorations, largest: approx 18"h, 7"w, 5"d, 24lbs total
Condition
05.30.24: In my opinion regarding LOT 2295: I note that all sculptures are presently intact, standing Guanyin has a minor chip to one of the fingers, the Guanyin seated on a lotus has craquelure throughout the glaze, and a minute hairline at the thumb, the Guanyin seated on the dragon turtle has multiple hairlines to the base and lap of figure, as well as additional at the verso, with restorations and minor loss to the base, each figure is of a varied white hued glaze, all exhibit a build up of dirt and debris within crevices and light typical surface wear such as minor abrasions, and minute iron pitting, commensurate with age and display
