German Meissen hand-painted porcelain figure, the conductor with music stand from the monkey band, after the model by Johann Joachim Kandler (1706-1775), 20th c., depicted in a powdered wig, pale blue coat over a patterned waistcoat, standing on a parcel-gilt rocaille base, blue crossed swords mark, conductor: incised number 161E 60001, painted number 18, approx 6 5/8"h, stand: incised number 153X 60022, painted number 7, approx 3.5"h, 0.75lbs total

10.11.24-LOT 3040: I note that both pieces are presently intact, standing securely on flat display surface, close visual and UV light examinations do not reveal hairlines/ fractures, chipping, or evidence of restoration, glazed and enameled decoration is well-preserved, only having a minute abrasion with glaze loss to the front side of the scrolled music stand (see image
