(pair) Louis XVI style parcel gilt and painted marble-top demilune console tables and mirrors, table: approx 35.5"h, 27.5"w, 15.5"d, mirror: approx 70.5"h, 21"w, 3"d
Condition
03.07.24: In my opinion regarding LOT 1440: I note that both mirrors and console tables are presently intact and structurally secure, both mirror plates exhibit light spotting concentrated near the edges, I observe minor spots of paint transfer, such as the green paint on the tip of scrolled foliate above top edge of mirror plate, both pieces of marble are intact with inherent natural inclusions and fissures, and typical minor chips along the back edge commensurate with use, areas of the green-painted mirror framing have been minorly touched up with paint that has a slight tonal variation from surrounding areas, I observe typical wear to the gilt, particularly at the front edge of table, and a few sparse, minor chips, the carved elements and pigment are overall well-retained
