(pair) Louis XVI style marble-top servers, with bronze dore mounts, central cabinet door with marquetry inlay, revealing shelved interior, on tapering legs, approx 47.5"h, 49.5"w, 16.5"d Start Price: $2000.00
Condition
1.12.24: In my opinion regarding LOT 1478: I note that both servers are presently intact and structurally sturdy, the marble tops of both exhibit sparse, typical minor chipping to edges, as well as patination throughout metal elements, the marble top of one has a professionally reinforced fracture extending from the right side of the front edge, this server also has a minor fill to the lowermost small shelf on the right side, the other server has a few spots of mars to the front marquetry panel, and a fracture to the top small shelf with a minor hairline offshoot, as well as seam separation to the lower side shelves from the metal trim, the marquetry is well-retained on both, and they display minor surface wear such as light abrasions
