- Lot Description
(pair) French Louis XV style carved walnut nightstands, late 19th c., inset marble top, over single drawer and cabinet door, marble-lined interior, on cabriole legs, repair to aoron at one lower back case, approx 35.5"h, 16.5"w, 15.25"d **Note: matching armoire (Lot 3420) and bed (Lot 3421) offered in this auction**
Condition
1.12.25-In my opinion regarding LOT: 3522-The pair stand sturdy, overall the cases are intact with some light tonal variation, surface wear, nicks and scattered evidence of old woodworm, marble tops are intact with only minute typical roughness/chipping along edges, very minor, drawers slide well, however one would likely benefit from a waxing to facilitate smoother movement, both drawers show some staining to bottoms, liners are spotted as pictured, all as commensurate with origin, age and use, one nightstand has a repair to trim at the back lower cabinet, see images
