(pair) Large Chinese porcelain planters/ jardinieres, honorific Jiajing style six-character mark at neck, on carved giltwood bases, jardiniere: approx 22.5"h, 21.5"diam, overall: approx 38.5"h, 24"w, 24"d
Condition
10.11.24-LOT 3205: I note that both jardinieres are presently intact and structurally secure, close visual and UV light examination does not reveal chipping, hairlines/ fractures, inpainting, or evidence of restoration, both sitting comfortably upon accompanying base, with typical light glaze wear and abrasions concentrated to the rim of mouth, there is light grime build up on the surface of porcelain that would benefit from a gentle cleaning, and I observe a couple minor non-structural glue repairs to the wood bases
